Most of our work comes from someone telling someone else. This is the part where that is worth something to you: 10% of the build, paid once the client pays.
An email with a name and roughly what they need is plenty. An introduction is better, but it is not required.
Honestly. If they do not need a site, or do not need one from us, we will say so. We would rather keep your name intact than win one job.
10% of the build, sent as soon as their first payment clears. E-transfer, or whatever suits you.
That last one is more common than you would think. Google shut down its free website builder in 2024 and took a lot of small-business sites with it. Plenty of owners still do not know their link is dead.
Photographers. Print and sign shops. Bookkeepers and accountants. Marketing consultants. Trades who work alongside other trades.
You meet our customer every month and you do not build websites. Sooner or later one of them says “I really need to sort my website out.” That sentence is worth 10% to you, and it costs you nothing to pass it along.
